Third-party sound credits
The tanpura sounds were recorded using a real tanpura; we cut, retuned and looped them. The Bansuri samples are recordings by sankalp (Sankalp Gulati, CompMusic project) on Freesound, licensed under CC BY 4.0; we trimmed, retuned and faded them. The Harmonium 2 recording is by cabled_mess and the Sarangi recording is by a Freesound user who has since left, both released into the public domain (CC0) on Freesound.
Many instrument sounds are recordings released into the public domain (CC0): the VS Chamber Orchestra: Community Edition and the Versilian Community Sample Library by Versilian Studios (with Sam Gossner, Simon Dalzell and others), Karoryfer Samples, and a steel drum by jlearman. The soprano and alto saxophones are from the MTG-UPF solo saxophone recordings; the Sitar (strokes) is “SitarCStrokes” by chinpen and the Sitar (melody) is “mark_sitar_03” by mannhawks, both on Freesound, and the Bansuri recordings are by sankalp (Sankalp Gulati, CompMusic). All of these are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution; we trimmed, retuned and balanced them. The Harmonium 2, Sarangi, Accordion (Vienna), Santoor (roll), Sitar (low) and Sitar (ring) recordings come from Freesound users (cabled_mess, batchku and others) under CC0.
