Frequently asked questions
What is a lehra?
A lehra (or nagma) is a repeating melodic cycle played on an instrument such as the harmonium or sarangi to keep time while a tabla player practises or performs. It follows the same taal cycle again and again.
How do I install Lehra Flow on my phone?
Android (Chrome): tap the three dots, then Install app (or Add to Home screen) and choose Install, not Create shortcut. iPhone (Safari): tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It is only a shortcut to the website, so your plan and lehras stay on our server and it cannot be used without an active plan.
Can I try Lehra Flow before paying for a month?
Yes. The Chai trial costs Rs 29 and gives 3 days of full access. It can be used once per account.
How do I pay?
In India, pay by UPI (scan the QR code on the payment page, or tap the UPI button on your phone). Outside India, switch on "I live outside India" and pay in US dollars with Wise (scan the QR code or tap the button). Then upload a screenshot of the payment. We check it and activate your plan, usually within a few hours, and add you to the WhatsApp community for support.
Do plans renew automatically?
No. Every plan is a one-time payment for a fixed number of days. If you pay again before it ends, the new days are added on top of the days you have left.
Can I use my account on two devices?
One account can be signed in on one device at a time. Signing in on a new device signs the old one out. This keeps accounts from being shared.
Can I create my own lehra?
Yes. The editor lets you draw notes on a grid, choose the number of beats and subdivisions, and preview it. Your work is saved as a draft on your device while you draw, and published to the shared library when you press Save.
Who can hear and use the lehras I create?
Every lehra you save is shared with all other subscribers, with your username shown as the author. By saving, you agree to this (see the Terms).
Which tanpura and instrument sounds are included?
More than 50 instrument sounds (harmonium, bansuri, sarangi, sitar, santoor, violin, flute, piano, organ and more) and a real tanpura in 12 tunings and every Sa. The tabla (Saath) and the tuner are included too.
I forgot my password.
Message the admin in the Lehra Flow WhatsApp community (paid members are added after their plan is activated). They can issue a temporary password, and you will be asked to choose a new one when you sign in.
Can I get a refund?
See the Refund Policy. In short: refunds are given for duplicate or failed payments, or if the service cannot be provided.
